QUESTION: I have worked in hospice for more than 20 years? Will this boot camp be too basic for me?
ANSWER: Based on feedback from participants, we have found that seasoned hospice professionals as well as people who are just beginning their career in hospice find the boot camps valuable.

QUESTION: Why do the boot camps take 2 days? couldn't you do it in a shorter period of time?
ANSWER: We could do the boot camps in a shorter period of time but we would not be able to drill down and cover as much information in the depth that we do. Our goal is to provide MORE than what is usually available in an audioconference or a concurrent session at a conference.  In addition, we have added "Pre-Boots" - all day workshops that allow us to go into even more depth on particularly challenging issues.

QUESTION: Do you cover ALL regulations that govern hospices?
ANSWER: Unfortunately, given time constraints, we are only able to focus on the Medicare regulations. For example, we are not able to cover HIPAA, OSHA or DOL regulations.

QUESTION: If I have already attended a boot camp is it worth going again?
ANSWER: The curriculum for the boot camps in 2009 has been significantly revised and in addition there is a change in the format.  It is likely that you would find the experience valuable even if you have already gone before.
