Heather P. Wilson, PhD.
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Heather Wilson is the founder and a
President of Weatherbee Resources, Inc. She is also the CEO of the Hospice Education Network, Inc. (HEN). Prior to founding Weatherbee in 1997, Heather worked at several hospice programs in Massachusetts in a variety of management positions.
Heather Wilson has authored numerous manuals to assist hospice programs with regulatory compliance, including:

Heather is a long-standing member of NHPCO's Regulatory Committee and for six years led the
Regulatory Subcommittee's Education Workgroup. She is a Board
member of the Hospice and Palliative Care Federation of Massachusetts
and a frequent presenter at State and national hospice meetings.
With Joy Barry she created the Hospice Regulatory Boot Camp
and is a permanent faculty member of this intensive educational
program.
Heather began her career as a French teacher, taught theology
and worked as a pastoral psychotherapist. She has a degree
from the Sorbonne, an MA in Religious Education from Fordham
University,
an MA in Counseling Psychology from New York University, and
a Ph.D. in Pastoral Psychology from Boston University. Her
doctoral dissertation was one of the first empirical studies
on the topic of forgiveness. In addition to her work with
Weatherbee and HEN, Heather owns and operates The
Forgiveness Web: The Internet’s Most Comprehensive Forgiveness
Resource.
