He has trained hundreds of hospice leaders, clinicians, and staff regarding every aspect of regulatory compliance and will be an excellent addition to the faculty of Weatherbee’s renowned Hospice Regulatory Boot Camps.
“I have been aware of Weatherbee’s hospice products and services since my earliest days in hospice, and was fortunate to attend a number of Hospice Regulatory Boot Camps during recent years,” states Kerry Stevenson. “I am delighted to be part of this great team and look forward to contributing my skills and expertise as the company continues to expand its services and respond to the evolving needs of hospices nationally.”
Requests for Weatherbee’s consulting services have grown in number and complexity over the last nineteen years. Hospices engage Weatherbee to conduct comprehensive baseline assessment audits and mock surveys to assess regulatory compliance and identify potential risk exposures. Weatherbee helps hospices mitigate identified risks and devise action plans to address problem areas. Weatherbee drafts and implements post-survey plans of correction and delivers customized education directly to hospice providers and their staff. Inpatient program development, interdisciplinary team re-tooling, physician and executive coaching, and other strategic and process improvement initiatives are also available to hospices through Weatherbee’s consulting division. Stevenson will perform the initial client intake, working with the client to assess their specific needs so that he can prepare a custom approach to solving those needs. Stevenson will also leverage the expertise available through the Hospice Compliance Network, a service of Weatherbee Resources, in his work with clients.
