 The proposed QAPI condition of participation requires
hospice programs to develop, implement and maintain an
effective, ongoing, comprehensive and data driven quality
assessment and performance improvement (QAPI) program. To
meet the requirements of this proposed CoP and its five
standards, hospice programs will, at a minimum, need to
refine their current quality improvement program.
